About

The world we live in can be overwhelming at times. We are influenced in the present moment by our past, while at the same time moving toward an uncertain future. Our experiences are marked by emotions and physical sensations, and sometimes it is difficult to simply make sense of what’s going on in and around us. My goal is to support my clients in finding this understanding and empower them to maneuver their experiences with clarity, calm, safety, and strength. I value a person-centered partnership in therapy, and I believe that this is the key to safe connection and healing. This means that the work we do is at your pace and honors your needs as a human being. I started my career supporting individuals with chronic mental illness heal through building social connections and independent living skills. I found my passion helping others meet their personal goals to live their best lives, and I went on to complete my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I worked in an outpatient setting providing general counseling services, group therapy, and substance abuse counseling before opening my private practice. Today I enjoy helping others heal by gaining deeper insight into their needs and experiences, finding balance in their lives, and resolving the past. I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing therapy to help individuals find relief from trauma, anxiety, attachment wounds, and negative thinking. I integrate this with a bottom-up approach with CBT, DBT skills, psychoeducation, and polyvagal interventions.
